"Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary.
Be strong and do the work.”
Chronicles 28:10
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
Praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
Praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
Praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
Praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
Praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Psalm 150

About Lynda
Lynda McCarthy has written her whole life starting in elementary school when she wrote her first short story about a lost dog—not knowing that cats would be her destiny! Words were always fascinating and putting words together to describe what she sees and observes is her life’s work. In high school, her work was recognized with an invitation to join the Advanced Creative class. Thank you Mrs. Six.
Lynda graduated with degrees in English and social studies, counseling, and administration. She spent 30 years as a teacher and administrator. During this time, she wrote three full-length musicals and many spiritual dramas for her church Worship Ministries. It was time to write her first novel. God was a writing partner and encourager as she kept working to completion of The Sanctuary.
As a first-time novelist, Lynda will be keeping women in the forefront of her novels. She recently finished the first draft of her second novel, a romantic comedy, The Snowman’s Girlfriend. Fun and Hallmark written all over it!
Lynda attended a writer’s workshop with Bob Goff and others where she was encouraged to “release her words” to the world. Her novel was picked up for publication by Blue Hat Publishing and the rest is history.
Lynda lives and works out of her home in Oregon with her husband, Denny, and her annoying cat, Annie. As she says, “There will always be a cat in my books!” Her literary cats will be more cooperative than her real cat, Annie!

The Sanctuary
"Four women receive an invitation to a place called The Sanctuary. Each accepting the invitation, but with conditions only they know.
Open your blue envelope and you might find what you're looking for.."
